ABOUT: Annual herb with star-shaped flowers of the purest sky blue. The Old Masters often chose this heavenly blue color to paint the Madonna’s robes. Bees and other pollinators flock to the plant in summer. The flowers and young leaves are both edible with a mild cucumber flavor and can be sprinkled on salads. Ht: 2-3’ tall.
HOW TO GROW: Sow the seeds thinly outdoors in spring or fall. Full sun & sandy soil are preferred, but partial shade and moist soil will do. Plant spacing: 9-12”. Plant reliably self sows once established (the plants in the video all self sowed)
